Birthing Class Response
I don't think either of us felt we got our $60 worth. They could have condensed the class into 5 hours instead of 10... but overall it was worth it. Mostly for Greg who learned about being a good support person (which I will need esp because we won't have family here).
I got to hold ice cubes in my hands while practicing breathing techniques and I have to say I did pretty good. I wonder if that's just because I held a lot of snow in my childhood and I'm used to having cold hands... if that is the case, I don't think it will help me in labor.

Birthing Class
Greg and I have "birthing" class tonight from 6:00 - 9:00pm and tomorrow 9:00 - 5:00pm. Neither of us are sure how they have 10 hours worth of material to make it worth our time. I am sort of enjoying my naivety about the whole birthing process... I don't have strong opinions about it and it's nice not having mounds of expectations. However, that will all go away after hours of videos, breathing exercises, and touring the hospital. I will no longer have reason to be clueless.
I'll keep you updated on how it goes and specifically how Greg handles the hours of learning about birthing when he would rather be studying Greek or Counseling.

32+ Weeks
Here's the latest "belly shot" taken last weekend at 32 weeks:
I am (mostly) still in a comfortable stage. I am not miserable yet. I can still touch my toes. My body is still getting used to all the extra weight (whoops!) so it does "protest" at times but again, still manageable at this point.
We are hoping baby girl stays in there until she's "fully cooked" and ready... anytime after April 1st is what I'm shooting for (and selfishly I think an April birthday would be grand!). I had a bit of high blood pressure for awhile but thankfully it went back down to a more normal range at my last appointment.
Pregnancy is mind boggling... God was sure creative when He designed this whole process. We are blown away at how this little being is in there and moves my whole belly like a freaky sci-fi movie.
Here we go... again!
Greetings friends and family!
We are officially starting a blog to update you on the life and times of Greg and Heather. Again. We did this awhile back without much success (read: we only posted once) but we are motivated this time due to the soon-to-be arrival of our baby girl. Knowing blogging is one of the best ways of communicating around the world and sharing photos, we will hopefully be consistent in our blogging.
Disclaimer: mostly Heather will be posting on this blog and therefore, please get familiar with the use (and misuse) of ellipsis... I love ellipsis! I will probably use them every post.
