The beanie is hated. 
The tortle beanie along with exercises are what we have to do for four-to-six weeks. If we do it well he will most likely avoid the helmet (which he would wear for 23 hours per day for two to four months). Let's hope Evan likes this beanie after a few days getting used to it! Poor kid is not a fan and is definitely out of sorts.

After we found out that Simon had a stroke, he started OT and we had all sorts of mandatory exercises we had to do. Many days, we both looked like poor Evan by the time we got done. I'm sure we were a sight- both of us crying; him because he HATED what he had to do and me because those big blue eyes would look at me like, "Why, Mom??" Hang in there, friends! The great news is that Simon is now almost 12 and instead of crying together, he just laughs and says "Why, Mom?" when I tell him the story and get a little weepy! :)
