Visuals

Finally, here are some visuals and not just text:

Here's the program from the memorial service. Thanks to Mitz and Shea for putting this together at the last minute.

And here are some flowers for those who like that sort of thing:

And here's the saw that my father-in-law bought me for those who like that sort of thing:

the program was beautiful. The flowers touching... the saw.... well, the saw is almost too much. I see images of heather with safety glasses on and wood chips flying in the air.... thinking of you :)

I agree with the previous comments... not quite sure how the saw fits in.

Looks like that saw is creating some buzz here, Greg.

Virginia and I were just talking about how much we appreciate your posts. They are so real and articulate and intimate...thank you. It is awesome that God would use the transmission of electrons over miles of cable and wireless signal to spread His Kingdom and unite a community to show the world that there is yet hope and redemption amidst tragedy.

Still praying,

Greg, it might help release some of the grief tension if you cut the crap out of a few logs and collect the sawdust for your compost pile. I was about to try the same thing in my cement apartment with my hammer drill but Jill put the stop to that. I did go for a jog which helped a little, at least until I got back and read your blog.

We love you and are praying that God would continue to give you faith through this. Thanks for the updates.

Somehow I've found myself needing to catch up on these, but know that I was still praying for and loving you all. It's fitting that such beauty (and I'm including the saw) should be shown for such a beautiful daughter. Maelee is loved, dearly. I so much look forward to the day when I get to see her. She's second on my autograph list, right behind Jesus.
